Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve never taught before. Can I still host a class?
Absolutely! You don’t need to be an expert—you just need to know more than a beginner and be willing to share. We’ll help you structure your class and support you through the process.
How long should my class be?
Most workshops are 2-3 hours, but we’re flexible. Some classes work better as 4-week series. We’ll work with you to find the right format.
What if only a few people sign up?
We run classes with a minimum of 4-6 students (depending on the topic). If your class doesn’t fill the first time, we’ll reschedule or adjust the timing.
Do I need to provide materials?
It depends on the class. For most workshops, we can provide basic materials within budget, or students bring their own. We’ll discuss this when planning your class.
How do class credits work?
For every class you teach, you earn 1 credit. Use that credit to attend any other Knowledge Exchange workshop. Credits never expire
