Comedic Talent for Social Videos
Job Description
We're casting for a series of short, funny social videos for a national financial services brand. There are several roles across three videos, and you're welcome to apply for more than one.
Roles:
The Overwhelmed Mom (speaking): Woman, 35β45, any race. She delivers a direct-to-camera rant at the end of a long day, with dinner prep, lunchboxes and three soccer practices. She needs natural comedic timing that makes overlapping thoughts feel spontaneous, and she should come across as warm and relatable rather than frazzled. Shot in a lived-in kitchen.
The Voice (speaking): Man, 30β40, any race. He plays a coworker's intrusive inner thoughts with sharp, dry comedic timing, blunt or absurd but never a bad guy.
The Employee (non-speaking): Man, 30β40, any race. He reacts to the voice in his head through his workday. His reactions need to be believable and grounded: the side-eye and the slight nervousness.
The Calm One (speaking): Man or woman, 30β40, any race. Selfie-style, talking to camera while walking, as the person who has a plan in place and doesn't stress like they used to. This should feel like a real post, not an ad.
Selfie-Style Ranters (speaking, may be filmed remotely): Men and women, 30β40, any race. These are short, relatable rants about how expensive everything is, filmed in a car, on a walk, or at a desk.
What to expect:
Half-day shoots the week of Oct 12 or Oct 19, 2026 (exact dates TBD) in [location]
Phone-style, natural filming; no acting experience is required, though comedic or improv experience is a plus. Some selfie-style roles may be self-recorded
Compensation:
Speaking roles: $350 half day + $450 usage
Non-speaking roles: $350 half day + $250 usage
To apply:
Submit recent photos, note which role(s) you're applying for, and include a short self-tape for each:
Mom: about 30 seconds riffing on your own chaotic evening, with your phone propped on a counter.
Voice: one deadpan line straight to camera.
Employee: a 10-second silent reaction to someone off camera saying something mortifying.
Calm One / Ranters: a 20-second selfie video of you walking and talking.

The Employee: Office casual in neutral colors, like a button-down or sweater with slacks or dark jeans.
The Calm One: Everyday casual, but a bit more put together.
Ranters: Everyday casual, like tees, button-downs, hoodies, jeans or sweaters.
